Hi, I’m Mohammed – an emergency medicine consultant working at one of the largest private hospitals in Kuwait.
But don’t worry, I’m not all about serious cases and white coats!

When I travel, I leave all the formality behind. I enjoy being spontaneous – walking around local streets, eating from food stalls, sitting on sidewalks, talking to strangers, trying things I never imagined I’d try…
I travel to feel free, to reconnect with the little joys we sometimes forget, and to live the moments I might’ve missed growing up.

I wasn’t always social, but over the years I’ve grown into someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life. I don’t like being placed in the “serious doctor” box – outside the hospital, I’m just a friendly guy who loves to laugh, explore, and live fully.

I’ve been to places like Switzerland, Turkey, USA, Morocco, Croatia, Hungary, Lebanon… and each trip has shaped me in a new way.
I love photography, discovering hidden gems, and letting the day flow without rigid plans.

But when I travel — I’m just Jo. A curious soul, always up for a story, a laugh, and a good local meal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to meet real people, not just visit places.

As a doctor, my life can get structured and serious — so when I travel, I crave authenticity, randomness, and connection.
Couchsurfing feels like the best way to step into the heart of a place through its people. I’m not here to look for free stays, but for genuine conversations, shared laughs, and local experiences that don’t come from guidebooks.

I love hearing life stories, cultural differences, and discovering how similar we all are deep down.

And if we meet, I hope we both leave with a good memory and maybe a new friend.
