I went to the Sahara Desert to spend my birthday there. It was the first time I spent my birthday without my family (my mom has 11 siblings, so my birthdays are usually packed with relatives). I missed them, but at the same time, I really enjoyed being by myself. Sometimes, the best thing that can happen to you is having zero expectations and just living in the moment.
