About Me

lovable standart person
Who are you? So existential, so human. Such a loaded question. Most of us don;t really know who we are, because we're so many different people to so many different people. To my mother, I am a supportive son. To my wife, her partner, protector and confidante. To my dogs, a leader and keeper of the sacred treats (Busy Bones, puppy butters etc.) To my therapist, an interesting patient. To my massage therapist, one of her favorite and most interesting clients. To my regular doctor, a pain in the ass. To one friend a brother, a source of strength and a mentor. To my brother, a ghost.

So who am I really?

All of those and more. SO if someone asks me, “Who are you?” I answer “Ed, and iI’m constantly changing.”

What am I? Not so existential is it? Not really a sexy question.

Human, just like everyone else.

Alright…I’ll bite and just in case this is an entrance essay into a post secondary institution or faculty because this question seems familiar.

I have gotten super awesome at putting department heads in stitches or they hate my whole face. Either way I’m cool with it, I actually started a scrap book with all of my rejection letters and the corresponding essays…one day I may publish it, how do you know I do not have a best seller just sitting around like a retirement fund…I don’t know things…oh you know things.

Who am I?

I am a being that is still conscientiously and resolutely calculating my wort

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

being myself

Teach, Learn, Share

Rather than me list the things I might teach. Let me give you some advice. The one thing every student must learn is how to deal with people effectively. While college Psych course can give you background, you know theory like Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, they don’t provide an effective lab component where you can get some experience actually interacting successfully with other humans in stressful situations or even routine interactions. THESE are skills that set the MUST HIRES above the kids with a college degree. Jobs and specialized course, such as leadership skills or crisis intervention will help. DO NOT ignore this part of your education.
