Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi everyone!
First off, sending you all my warmest greetings. I’m 22 and studying theatre. This year, I’m finally going abroad for the first time ever, and honestly, I’m super excited! Since getting a Schengen visa is really tough with a Turkish passport, I decided to travel to visa-free countries instead. I’m starting in Bosnia and Herzegovina and plan to visit about 4 or 5 countries, spending around a week in each before heading back home.

I’ll be traveling solo. I want to spend this trip reading lots of books and exploring new places. I’m a friendly and cheerful person, always trying to help out my hosts as much as I can. Also, I’m pretty tidy! That’s pretty much it — I might be a little all over the place because I’m just so excited, sorry about that! Hope to see you soon! I’ll be in Sarajevo on May 29.

Music, Movies, and Books

First of all, I absolutely love all theatre books and I read one every single day. I really enjoy reading detective novels. My favorite book is My Left Foot by Christy Brown. I love watching the Avengers series — Spider-Man is my favorite! I also really like Deadpool.

I enjoy watching comedy and horror films, or dramas with intense, heavy stories. I love anything with high tension. Incendies is one of the best films I’ve ever seen.

When it comes to music, I'm not picky at all — I can vibe with and dance to any kind of music because music means a lot to me. I listen to all genres, from Mozart to Travis Scott. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done: I swam across the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul and earned a medal for completing it. It was an unforgettable experience!
