Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Anaïs, 28 years old, made in France, with a deep love for music, travel… and food. Let’s be honest: I travel for the views, the people, and the plates.
I’m always ready to pack a bag and jump on a train, plane, or even a scooter if it means discovering somewhere new. I’m curious, love meeting new people, and have a genuine interest in hearing life stories – preferably over sushi, tacos, or a giant bowl of ramen. 🍣🌮🍜
Musically, I swing between metal riffs and chill vibes, so don’t be surprised if I go from headbanging to humming in five minutes. I’ve been told I’m funny (in a good way), kind, and super easy to get along with. I love laughing, learning, and sharing good moments with good people.
Couchsurfing, for me, isn’t just about saving money – it’s about connecting with real humans, creating memories, and maybe swapping favorite bands or recipes along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because, for me, traveling is above all a human adventure. Of course, discovering new places is amazing, but meeting locals, exchanging stories, and sharing meaningful moments is what truly makes each trip unique.
I love the idea of creating authentic connections, stepping off the beaten path, and seeing the world through other people’s eyes. Couchsurfing offers a way to travel that’s more genuine, richer, and, above all, more fun — because the best memories often come from real human encounters.

Music, Movies, and Books
If I had to list all the music I love, we’d be here for hours — and no one has that kind of time (except maybe Spotify). Let’s just say if it’s loud, emotional, or a little weird, I’m probably into it. Think Korn, MIW, Ghost, Poppy, Paleface Swiss… and that’s just scratching the surface.
When it comes to movies, I’ve got a weak spot for anything that either blows my mind or makes me want to sleep with the lights on. Papillon gets me in the feels, Interstellar makes me question space and time (and my entire existence), and I have a serious love for horror films — the weirder, the better. Creepy nuns? Possessed dolls? Multiverse mayhem? Yes, please.
As for books: if it’s made of actual paper, I’m in. E-readers? Nah. I want to feel the pages, smell the print, maybe even dog-ear a few corners. Books are meant to be touched — kind of like memories, but with more dust.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting a flat tire is never fun. But getting two flat tires right in the middle of downtown Casablanca, on a scorching hot day, with 50 honking cars around and no clue where to find a mechanic… that’s what I call an epic adventure.
Spoiler alert: I survived (and so did the car). Thanks to some kind strangers, a lot of patience, and a mechanic who became my hero of the day, I managed to get back on the road — a little more stressed, a lot more humble, but with a great story to tell.
Traveling isn’t just about the perfect moments — it’s also about the chaos that turns into unforgettable memories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d love to share moments of warmth and discovery with my hosts — whether it’s over a good meal, a fascinating conversation, or simply some shared laughter. I enjoy learning from others and exchanging stories about travel, culture, and different perspectives.
I’m also always up for cooking together, listening to music, or exploring the local area side by side. In short, I like creating simple and genuine memories because that’s what Couchsurfing is all about for me.
