About Me

I grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden and recently moved to the United Kingdom for studies. I have always loved travelling, seeing new countries, immersing in new cultures, and meeting people from all over the world. Some of my favourite places have been Bosnia, Morocco and Greece. I truly believe travelling is the best way to gain new perspectives on life, people and cultures. It inspired my career choices as I'm studying Hospitality and Tourism, and I hope to one day help to make the world a better place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, Couchsurfing is not about a free place to stay, it’s about human connection. I believe the most meaningful parts of travel happen not when you visit landmarks, but when you sit down with someone new, share stories, and see the world through each other’s eyes.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I value authentic experiences and genuine conversations. I want to understand how people live, what they care about, and what makes a place feel like home to them. Every connection, no matter how brief, has the power to leave a lasting impact and change the way we see the world.

Travel has taught me that kindness transcends borders, languages, and cultures. Couchsurfing represents that idea: a global community built on trust, generosity, and openness. By opening doors to one another, we create something bigger than ourselves: understanding, empathy, and shared humanity.

I hope to meet people who inspire me, challenge my perspectives, and remind me that the world is full of warmth and goodwill. In return, I aim to be a respectful, curious, and grateful guest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to all sorts of music, from english songs to bosnian songs, from modern to old. I love experiencing new music in countries I visit.

I love to watch movies, some of my favourites include: Star wars, Pirates of the caribbean, the notebook and Grown Ups.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went volunteering in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains last summer for a month, and it was the most amazing, rewarding thing I've ever done. I taught children English, played sports, and helped the village. I was also a part of a scheme in Gothenburg where we donated clothes and food to people in Ukraine a few years ago and worked directly with the Red Cross.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy teaching people about my cultures and traditions, even other cultures I have experienced on my travels. I love influencing new people and telling amazing stories of my travels.

I love to learn about new cultures and peoples way of life in other parts of the world. I enjoy hearing peoples different perspectives on global issues.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a respectful, tidy, and easy-going guest who values other people’s space and time. I’m happy to help around the house if needed and always follow house rules.
I enjoy sharing conversations, meals, or a walk if my host is open to it, but I’m also very comfortable being independent. Above all, I bring appreciation, positive energy, and genuine gratitude for the kindness of hosting.
