About Me

I’m Claudia — a calm, curious and respectful woman. I love nature, art, and genuine human connections. I travel light, always bringing good energy and gratitude. I’m planning to move to Brazil soon to study and explore new opportunities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe in generosity, in homes that become bridges, and in people who make a journey meaningful. I’m not here only for a place to sleep — I’m here for human connection.

Interests

I enjoy creating art with recycled materials, exploring new cities, meeting inspiring people, and discovering local flavors.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy very calm and peaceful music. I like books that teach me something new in a general and simple way. I also appreciate movies that inspire me or help me learn about different perspectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

life has been creating and developing a sustainable handmade business from scratch. Even with a very limited budget, I managed to design artisanal products using recycled materials such as wood, glass, cardboard, fabric, and metal, incorporating creative techniques and different artistic styles. This experience strengthened my ability to build projects with few resources and deepened my commitment to sustainability and circular economy practices.

My Project: Tierra Nativa
I am the founder of Tierra Nativa, a sustainable artisan project focused on creating handmade planters, picture frames, candle holders, and other decorative items. Each piece is crafted with reclaimed materials and responsible processes, aiming to bring beauty while reducing waste. My work combines art, recycling, and functionality, offering unique items that tell a story and bring harmony into any space.
I also include motivational messages in my creations, connecting nature, creativity, and emotional well-being.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish and share stories about Colombia. I love learning new recipes, cultural traditions, and different perspectives on life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A genuine willingness to help and to share daily life in a respectful way. I adapt easily and enjoy contributing wherever I am needed, from simple everyday tasks to helping organize spaces or supporting small projects.

I truly enjoy creating things with my hands and sharing what I know in a natural way. If the moment feels right, I can share how to make handmade planters or candles, or simply leave something made with care as part of the exchange, never as an obligation.

For me, Couchsurfing is about sharing, connecting, helping each other, and creating meaningful human experiences where everyone feels comfortable and welcome.
