Hi! I’m José 😄

If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be "smiling". I’m a cheerful and open-minded person who loves connecting with others, sharing meals, and learning about different cultures and ways of life.

I’m passionate about food🍜—both cooking and eating! I also love spending time in nature🌱, discovering new places, and having meaningful conversations.

I work as a high school teacher👨‍🏫, and I teach Technology and Robotics. I find it super rewarding to help young people explore how things work and how they can create with their hands and minds.

Japanese culture has a special place in my heart—especially manga, traditional food, and customs.🇯🇵

I split my time between Málaga (in southern Spain🇪🇸), the Canary Islands, and Greece🇬🇷, where my girlfriend is from. So I feel lucky to call several beautiful places “home.”

Couchsurfing for me is all about meeting new people, sharing stories, and exchanging perspectives😄.

I love sharing meals, stories, and laughs! I’d be more than happy to cook something Spanish for you—or we can cook together and swap recipes from our cultures.

I’m always curious to learn and open to deep (or silly!) conversations about life, travel, culture, or technology.

If you’re interested, I can also show you some cool things about robotics or teach you something fun I use in my classes.

I try to be a respectful, clean, and considerate guest. I don’t need much—just a bit of space and good company 😊
