We’re Hannah and Robert, and we’ve been living together in Berlin since 2020.

Hannah is originally from the UK but has been living in Germany for over nine years, and Robert is from Hessen, Germany and has been living in Berlin since 2018.

We’ve been together since 2018 and recently got married!

We absolutely love our apartment — and living in Berlin even more. You’ll usually find us out exploring new corners of the city or catching up with friends in one of our favorite relaxed Berlin bars. Lately, we’ve both gotten really into calisthenics and train several times a week — it’s become one of our favorite shared hobbies.

We’re both easygoing and sociable, and we love meeting new people. This year, we’ve decided to take a break from work and go on a year-long world trip — a sort of extended honeymoon — and we are really looking forward to all the different people and things we will discover on the way.

Because we really believe that travelling shouldn’t just be something that wealthy people have access to. Nowadays, even hostels can be overpriced and out of reach and it can be really difficult to find just a simple place to put your head down for the night.

We love meeting new people - travelling just the two of us for a whole year would get pretty dull after a while! - and it is especially great to meet locals who can tell you all about the place they live. We love showing people around Berlin and getting to share all of our favourite spots.
