Hi! My name is Hossein, and I’m originally from Iran. I’m a plant molecular biologist currently visiting Japan for research. I'm based in Toyama City these days, and I’m passionate about science, nature, and meeting people from different backgrounds.

In the past, a friend and I hosted travelers from around the world — people who found us through Couchsurfing. It was a wonderful experience sharing stories, food, and perspectives. Now that I’m traveling myself, I’d love to connect with kind locals in Japan who are open to hosting.

I consider myself respectful, curious, and calm. I don’t smoke, I don’t party hard, and I always clean up after myself. I enjoy learning about other cultures, trying new foods, and exploring cities on foot to discover their hidden corners.

If you’d like, I’d be happy to share a bit of my culture or help with cooking some Persian dishes. I believe in kindness, meaningful conversations, and cultural exchange — not just free accommodation.
