Hi! I’m Enver. I’ve always loved meeting new people, discovering new places, and learning new things. I’ve lived in different cities in Turkey, spent some time in Poland, and wherever I go, I try to immerse myself in the local culture. For me, traveling isn’t just about seeing new places – it’s about sitting down with people from different backgrounds, sharing stories, and understanding their way of life.

I’m a physiotherapist by profession, which means I enjoy working closely with people and helping them feel better. I also have experience in massage therapy – sometimes it becomes a small gift I share with friends I meet on the road. Sports are a big part of my life; I run regularly and love spending time outdoors. I’m also passionate about cooking – from traditional Turkish dishes to experimenting with new recipes, I enjoy sharing food with others.

Humor is essential for me. I believe life should be lived seriously enough to respect it, but light enough to laugh as often as possible. Whether it’s having coffee in a small street café or watching the sunset from a mountain peak, I believe good conversation makes every moment better.

Through Couchsurfing, I’m looking forward to meeting new people, seeing their cities through local eyes, and also hosting travelers in my own place. Because for me, a journey isn’t measured only in kilometers – it’s made meaningful by the friendships and stories we collect along the way.

I like movies that make me think or make me laugh – sometimes both at the same time. From travel documentaries to comedies and a few action classics, I’m always up for a good film night.

Books:
Mostly non-fiction and travel stories, but I also enjoy novels that give me a glimpse into another culture. I believe books are like silent journeys – you can travel far without leaving your seat.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once, during my travels, I cooked a huge pot of traditional Turkish stuffed mussels and shared them with people from three different countries in one night. We didn’t all speak the same language, but between laughter, music, and the smell of fresh seafood, we ended up spending hours together telling stories and dancing. That night reminded me that food, kindness, and a little bit of curiosity can connect people faster than anything else.
