Hi! I’m Cornell from the Netherlands. I’m an enthusiastic and adventurous person who loves meeting new people, sharing stories, and exploring life. I enjoy pushing my limits through barefoot running, obstacle runs, and kickboxing, but I also love slowing down with a good conversation or a walk in nature.

I’m new to Couchsurfing and I want to use it as a way to connect with people, discover new places, and live more adventurously.

I believe that the best experiences come from people, not just places. Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way to travel more authentically, meet inspiring people, and learn from different cultures.

Most of the time I go on weekend adventures when I don’t have my kids: hiking, camping, or short trips nearby. But every now and then I also like to travel longer, for a week or more, to explore new countries in a more adventurous way.

I once ran a full marathon completely barefoot. It was one of the toughest and most rewarding experiences of my life, painful at times, but it taught me a lot about pushing limits and enjoying the journey step by step.

Teach
I can share my knowledge about Linux, home automation, and tech. I also love sports, so I can teach a bit about kickboxing, barefoot running, and how to stay motivated to train.

Learn
I’d love to improve my English, learn survival and bushcraft skills, and pick up new perspectives from people with different backgrounds. I’m also curious to learn more about local food, culture, and hidden places.

Share
I can share good conversations, outdoor adventures, and cooking together. I’m happy to share my energy, humor, and openness, and maybe a barefoot run if you dare 😉.
