About Me

Hi! I’m Bo Hao from Taiwan.

I’m a curious and open-minded traveler who loves exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and connecting with people. For me, Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to stay — it’s about sharing stories, creating meaningful memories, and experiencing a city through the eyes of locals.

I always try to be a considerate and friendly guest. If you are able to host me, I would love to share stories, learn about your culture, and maybe even cook a simple meal together.

My motto:
Be kind, keep smiling, and enjoy everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Island’s Sunrise – Fire EX.

“Island’s Sunrise” was created during Taiwan’s 2014 Sunflower Student Movement, in response to student-led protests against a controversial trade agreement with China. The song’s hopeful lyrics and recurring image of the sky gradually brightening symbolize courage, unity, and hope after a period of darkness. It became widely sung during the movement and later grew into an important cultural symbol of Taiwan’s social activism and democracy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve done was walking the Camino de Santiago alone. I started the journey by myself, not knowing anyone and with almost no English. But along the way, I met many kind and wonderful people. We shared stories, walked together, and I practiced English with them every day. By the end of the journey, I realized I was never truly alone. It was a meaningful and unforgettable experience that taught me how much I love meeting people and learning from them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning from the people I meet, sharing stories and experiences, and sometimes teaching a bit about my own culture. Traveling is all about connecting with others, creating meaningful moments together, and discovering the world through each other’s eyes..

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing little stories from my travels — the people I meet, the fun moments, and the experiences that make the journey special. I’m also excited to learn from my hosts and experience local life with you.
