Travelling gives me the opportunity to meet new cultures, explore countries and understand different ways to see the world. And that makes me happy and a better human I hope :) But I also love staying home. I have a garden and enjoy spending time outside in nature. While I am not exploring the world, I try to be active in my local environment through permaculture, sustainable land use and community building. Getting to understand other cultures gives me a chance to implement things I have learned during travels in my daily life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the best way to start understanding the country I am visiting. People you connect with while travelling make everything better and couchsurfing is a great way to meet people. By making strong connections we can make a better world together. At this moment I have no means of hosting, as I am renovating an old house and the infrastructure doesn't support hosting. So I am especially grateful that I can still be hosted even though at this particular moment I don't have the option to give back to the community.
