Hi! I’m Niyas, originally from India 🇮🇳 and currently living in Malta 🇲🇹. Life has been quite a journey so far—I began my studies in Ukraine, continued in Latvia, and recently completed my degree in Aviation Transport Engineering. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to experience different cultures, adapt to new environments, and meet people from all walks of life.

I’ve worked in many roles— from aircraft maintenance trainee to education consultant, from hospitality jobs in Riga to travel advising. These experiences not only taught me skills but also made me very open-minded, flexible, and easygoing.

What I love most is connecting with people. I’ve helped students achieve their study abroad dreams, guided travelers in planning their journeys, and enjoyed countless conversations over good food. I see Couchsurfing as an opportunity to meet new friends, share stories, and learn more about different ways of living.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring cities on foot, trying out local food, and discovering hidden gems wherever I go. I’m also passionate about travel, aviation, and learning languages (I speak English, Malayalam, and a bit of Arabic, Hindi, and Russian).

I’m respectful, clean, and adaptable—I believe in making every space I stay in as welcoming as I found it.
