About Me

Hey there 👋
I’m Mileat — an easygoing, curious soul who loves meeting new people, hearing stories from different corners of the world, and sharing a good laugh over food or coffee. I’m the kind of person who’s up for spontaneous adventures but also enjoys quiet nights talking about life, art, or random things that make no sense but sound deep at 2am.

I’ve lived, studied, and worked in a few different places, so I really value cultural exchange and kindness across borders. I’m all about good energy, respect, and genuine connections, whether it’s for a day, a week, or just one memorable conversation.

When I’m not working or exploring, you’ll probably find me sketching, watching animated films, or planning a trip I might or might not actually take 😅

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I love how travel can connect complete strangers in the best way possible. I think the heart of a place isn’t in the tourist spots — it’s in the people who live there. I want to experience cities through local eyes, share good conversations, exchange stories, and maybe learn something new about life along the way.

Interests

I’m into art, travel, cultures, and meaningful (but also random) conversations. I love drawing, writing, and watching creative projects come to life, especially animation and storytelling. I’m also a bit of a coffee enthusiast ☕ and I enjoy walks, local food, and cozy chill time after a long day of exploring.

Mostly, I just enjoy being around open-minded, kind people who like to laugh, share, and make ordinary moments feel special.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably seeing how resilient people can be. And being part of projects that brought communities together after tough times. Also, traveling solo for the first time was a mix of freedom and “what am I doing?” energy that I’ll never forget. Oh, and watching a sunrise after pulling an all-nighter with new friends somewhere random, that felt pretty amazing too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love exchanging perspectives, sharing travel tips, or just swapping life lessons over tea. I can share some language basics, stories from where I’m from, and insights about creative projects or community work.
I’d love to learn more about local traditions, daily routines, and hidden spots wherever I go, those small, real-life things you can’t find on Google.
