About Me
Hey, I'm Gaurav, from Delhi.
I'm not the kind of person who has everything figured out yet… I'm still exploring, trying new things, and understanding what I really want from life. But one thing I do know I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories.
I like simple moments more than fancy plans. Late night talks, random walks, or just sitting somewhere with chai and talking about life. Sometimes I even go out at 4am just to see Delhi when it’s quiet it feels like a completely different city.
I can be a bit quiet at first, but once I'm comfortable, I open up and I genuinely enjoy deep conversations. I'm more of a listener than a talker in the beginning, but I like that it helps me connect better.
I'm here on Couchsurfing not just to find a place to stay, but to actually experience places through people. I think the best part of traveling is the connection, not just the location.
I'm respectful, easygoing, and I don't create problems. I can help with small things around the house, cook something simple, or just bring good vibes and honest conversations.
If you're ever in Delhi, I'd be happy to show you around a bit or just hang out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here not just to find a place to stay, but to actually connect with people. I feel like traveling is more about the people you meet than the places you see.
I don't want to experience a city like a tourist I’d rather see the real side of it through locals, their lifestyle, and their stories.
For me, it's about sharing moments… whether it's a simple conversation, a walk, or just spending time together. Those are the things that stay with you.
I also like stepping out of my comfort zone, meeting new people, and learning how different everyone's life can be.
Interests
love staying active. I'm into sports and I have a lot of energy I can literally walk or run the whole day and not get tired. I enjoy being outdoors more than sitting at home.
I like a bit of adventure too trying new things, exploring places, and just going with the flow instead of overplanning everything.
I'm a good communicator and I genuinely enjoy talking to people from different backgrounds. At the same time, I also like listening and understanding different perspectives.
Simple things make me happy good food, music, random walks, and real conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books
1) I don't stick to one type of music I listen based on mood. Sometimes it’s chill songs, techno ,rap and sometimes just late-night calm music while walking or thinking.
2) I'm not a big reader yet, but I do like books or content that make me think differently about life and perspective.
3) I really enjoy travel and action movies. I like movies that show different places, cultures, and adventures, as well as action films that keep things intense and exciting. For me, a good movie is something that either inspires me to explore or keeps me fully engaged.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently, I've started stepping out of my comfort zone a lot—talking to new people, meeting strangers, and putting myself in situations where I don't fully know what will happen. From random conversations with travelers to trying to figure out opportunities like full time traveller , working in remote job and travelling, people who work some month and some month do travel, it's been a mix of small risks every day.
It might not sound like one big “crazy” achievement, but for me, it’s been amazing because I’ve changed a lot as a person. I’ve become more open, more confident, and more curious about people and the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
1) I can share basic fitness habits, simple workouts, and how to stay active without needing a gym. I can also help with English/Hindi conversations and share everyday life experiences from India.
2) I’d love to learn about different cultures, lifestyles, and how people live in other parts of the world. I’m also interested in learning new skills, local food, and languages.
3) I can share good conversations, positive energy, and stories. I'm always open to helping around the house or cooking something simple together. I believe small moments like talking over chai or going for a walk , playing sports are the best part of meeting new people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can show you around Delhi, suggest good local spots, or just hang out for a walk, chai, or food. I enjoy meeting new people and having real conversations, so I'm open to spending time and sharing experiences.
If you need help with directions, local tips, or understanding the city better, I'll do my best to help.
