Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Connecting with my hosts and exchanging ideas and experiences is way more important for me than just ‘free accommodation’. Especially when travelling alone, Couchsurfing seems much more meaningful than a hotel.

Interests

Apart from movies, music and books, I’ve recently been interested in cooking, specially traditional, simple dishes from my country. I also enjoy collecting physical media like DVD’s and CD’s and even stamps and postcards. I love exchanging letters, so I’d be thrilled if one of my hosts is open to it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love watching movies and TV shows. My favorite movies are Gladiator, Interstellar, Gone with the Wind, Amélie. Favorite shows are Lost, The 100, The Walking Dead, Vikings.

I also enjoy listening music, especially older pop from the 80s-2000s, though I also try to keep up with the latest releases.

As for books, I’m slowly getting into them and so far I’ve enjoyed some classics like 1984 and some local bestsellers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved away at 18 to pursue my nursing career. The first year I lived alone in a small town and the second in a shared apartment in Seville with fellow students. The third year I switched university again to live with my family and continue studying on my home town.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’ve traveled to England and Italy. Within Spain, I’ve been to Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

I dream of traveling to Paris and learning French eventually. I could also teach some Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a good listener and would like to hear all about your experiences! I’d be happy to help around the house with small tasks or even cook a simple meal if needed. I try to be independent and easy to host. People around me consider me tidy and mature beyond my years but still fun to be around.
