Overview
About Me
“Live and let live” is probably the best lesson I learned from my mom. I love being alive, exploring, embracing, listening and looking. I enjoy having time to independently take care of myself, however, being a social butterfly, I end up hanging out with friends most of the time. I just moved to Cardiff few months ago, after 2 warm years in South of France. This is why I decided to give a try to CS. It has been a good tool so far not only to meet people but to make friends. I met some of the people multiple times already!
A typical day would be about working from home (too many hours), make some healthy and “as vegan as possible” food and go to the gym or, on luckier days, to the pub for a beer, or, on even luckier ones, to the park/at the bay to see the sunset. I’m Italian, and I would consider myself lucky for having more than one place I call ‘home’. I love travelling moving around the cities by bike/walking, I feel it has a more authentic vibe. When I’m not travelling, I enjoy doing outdoor activities, like hiking or swimming. I like cooking and I started few days ago to play the ukulele. When I start a good book I become insane and I can’t stop reading. I would always prefer a nice dinner at home with good food, wine and music over clubbing!
As a surfer, I believe couch surfing can help me travelling more and meeting locals, learn about their culture and lives, but no pressure, I also like travelling alone and make my own plans. As a host, if I can help you having a better travel experience by hosting and sharing (house, food, walks), I’m happy to do so!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for opportunity to travel more in the UK (since I can work remotely there) and abroad. Meeting interesting people.
Please don’t use CS has a dating app.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can’t stand commercial music, as movies I like comedies or light thrillers, as books I love psychological thrillers.

Teach, Learn, Share
I’ve been teaching Italian to foreigners. I also like cooking together and learning from each other. Trying to keep my French alive (assuming it has ever been).
