One thing that needs to be clear is that I am actually an old Couchsurfing user, I had my account here in 2016 and hosted a lot cool people from the world and also got very good comments from them, but unfortunately, I lost my account during COVID years when foreigners were not allowed to travel in China and the same time Couchsurfing was facing the most difficult time as well. And also, my life experienced a great change during this time, but as a great supporter of Couchsurfing app, I am really glad to see it survive and continue to run after the COVID even if it’s not free anymore. I have to say that I really made many good international friends here, some of which we still keep in touch, and also love the vibe here, that’s why I decided to come back here with a new account.

As an English teacher for more than 20 years, I am very fluent in speaking English and of courses Chinese as a native speaker. I am open minded, enthusiastic, and passionate about traveling abroad and learning new languages and meeting local people having fun with the m.

My partner Matt, who is from Australia and currently working in China as an English teacher, is also a great traveling lover. So far, we have been traveling together to many Asian countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and America, England, japan, Philippine, Vietnam, Dubai, etc separately. We are planning to travel at least two counties every year!

My partner is also a great fan of diving, skiing and golf playing, which are the things I am learning and getting better and better right now, while I am a professional yoga teacher and have been practicing and teaching yoga for more than 10 years. I enjoy listening to pop music, light rock, and country music! My favorite singer is Michael Jackson, Taylor swift, Beyoncé, Adele and several Chinese singers like 张杰， 薛之谦， 张学友.

My partner and I both love science movie, suspense movie! The most recent one we have watched together is the rip, played by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, which is a great one with very good storyline!

I love reading books about psychology, spiritual growth, I have read a book with the title of the power of now, which helped me a lot to realize what is more important in life. I also enjoy reading novels based on true story and biography of successful people, my favorite Chinese writers are 莫言，史铁生，李娟. I also read some of the classics like -《红楼梦》—A Dream in Red Mansion, which is written by 曹雪芹，also regarded as the top one among four chinese classics!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am very proud of my ability of turning hobbies into my profession, like when I first started to practice yoga, it was just a hobby, but later, in order to study it, I went to India for one month to finish my professional yoga training, where I met a lot of great teachers and yogis. And also learn it from many other excellent teachers from the world after I came back to China, which transformed me into a professional yoga teacher and even started my yoga business that had lasted for 8 years of my life!

Thanks to yoga, I have a very strong heart and peaceful mind dealing with any kind of situation in my life. My partner and I both believe that life is all about experience, we are always ready to explore whatever life stores for us and enjoy the moment to the fullest!
