Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, travel isn't about the monuments. It’s about the people I meet along the way. I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to understand a new culture is through a shared meal and a good conversation. I’d much rather swap stories with a local than sit alone in a hotel room.
