Why I’m on Couchsurfing
If someone is visiting from a distant land, I can host them in my home—staying with my family—for a few days (say, 2 to 10 days), and we can explore the area together completely free of charge. In return, if I were to travel to a foreign or unfamiliar country, I would hope that someone there would offer me a place to stay for a few days.
