About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Been to over 35+ Countries, 6 Continents, & all 50 US States. I'd like to travel more but given the pandemic, it's real tough right now.

ABOUT ME
Very open-minded, adventurous individual that believes we should all try something (activity, food, you name it) at least once! I'm a half-assed advocate for social responsibility and all things environmental!

Love to travel, meet new people, do oddball things, perform (sing, dance, play piano), and down for the occasional party!

I'm originally from the Los Angeles area but now live in the the San Francisco region!

I sorta still run & host a 20s-30s Random Adventurers Group in San Francisco: http://www.meetup.com/San-Francisco-Random-Adventurers-20s-30s/ and ran a Burning Man Camp (Funnel Vision) for a few years before the 2020 pandemic.

If you want to do something random in SF, let me know! At the minimum, I definitely can meet up for an evening & I'll always have suggestions.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everyone should try something at least once before passing judgment. Creativity and innovation stems from people stepping out of their comfort zone from time to time!

"Don't be afraid of living life. Go out - it's beautiful out there."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even though I've been a registered member since 2006, my CouchSurfing experience was mainly the first 5-10 years. I'm still open though to meet new, interesting people from amazing, far-off cities and cultures!!

I would like to share my "outgoing-ness" and need to be active, out and about with pretty much anybody. I'm down to share my travels as well as my "culture" with anyone interested. I'm also excited to hear about other CouchSurfer's experiences and perspectives.

If you are ever in or near California, please feel free to contact me. I can provide great tips, maybe take you around, and hopefully introduce you to some friendly people!

Last, I like to make cheesy videos of my experiences like this awesome CS event in Paris:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Many years ago I came upon Couchsurfing.org before heading on a 3-week road trip across the US. I contacted a few people, actually got scared with the profiles and responses, and then gave up.

Since then, my friends and I contacted several people in Argentina/Peru, Arizona, Chicago, all over Europe and folks visiting California. The experience and the people have been awesome! I've also attended various local CouchSurfer events from time to time. I've had the opportunity to meet wonderful locals as well as host and show visitors around my neighborhood and cities!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been providing tips for and tours of NorCal, SoCal and Las Vegas to friends and family for as long as I can remember.

As my friends will tell you, I make the most of my trips, my neighborhood, and experiences. I'm always trying new things, full of energy and willing to provide suggestions.

You want to flashmob? You want to try weird-looking food? You want to party? You want to see tourist sites? You like fancy, "smancy" restaurants or hole in the wall cafes? You name it, I've probably done it or can definitely provide recommendations.
