ABOUT ME
A little story about how we met:
In early 2008 I had recently returned from living in Paris and was working in a gorgeous second hand book store. Conan came in looking for "Brave New World" and "1984" for an assignment. We got chatting and the rest is history! If there is such a thing as love at first sight, I would say that is definitely what happened between us that day...
PHILOSOPHY
"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others. For beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness. " - Audrey Hepburn
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was first exposed to couchsurfing in Paris when my friend Kaya invited me to a CS picnic by the Seine. Everyone I met was so lovely and so vibrant and I couldn't wait to go to another CS event. We enjoyed spending time with the new friends we had made, visiting museums and making the most of Paris with several of them. Then Kaya suggested we try couchsurfing together on our upcoming trip to Amsterdam and Berlin. We had the most amazing experiences with the generous hosts we met and I was emboldened enough to go it alone in Dresden. I was on a CS high after yet another positive exchange. I didn't have much contact with CSers after that until Valentine's Day 2008, when I met two friendly German guys for a drink during their short visit to Perth. In late 2009 while Conan was busy with production rehearsals I went to some CS gatherings around Perth. I'd like to get involved with the Western Australian Wiki so that surfers will be able to find lots of info about Perth on couchsurfing.com
