Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find what I love in life
ABOUT ME
I am a funny person, love to laugh and find humor in offbeat things but sometimes I can be serious. I plan too much and I'm very practical and rational when it comes to most things. I am generally shy at first till I get into my element. I love cake, a lot, any kind of cake. As long as it's vegan.
PHILOSOPHY
Wow! heavy stuff and I can't say I honestly know, it changes daily. Although that is one thing I adhear to, change. It is the only constant.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I did surf on my trip up the west coast but currently I am open to hosting in Portland
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed up the west coast and in Canada and met some great people along the way. One of which allowed me to stay long enough to find a job and more permanent place here in Portland.
Interests
My custom '77 Dodge Tradesman 200 (sold but now have a '76 Honda civic!), I love music, playing the drums, meeting people who I click with, nice old cars, laughing, trying new things, craft cocktails and great vegan food, joking around, one thing I don't like are filling out questions like these, but I have no choice.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Death cab, Com Truise, Hendrix, NIN, Elliott Smith, Pedro the Lion, Mogwai, Sigur Ros, T.V. on the Radio, Aphex Twin, Flaming Lips, Iron & Wine, M83, El-P, Del the funky homosapien, Interpol, Air, Roots, Bloc Party, Aimee Mann, Aesop Rock, Boards of Canada...etc. etc. etc.
Movies: Big Lebowski, Princess and the Warrior, Vanilla Sky, Old School, don't watch as many as I used to cause they are addictive, real life is better (or is it bitter? I can't remember)
I don't read as much as I'd like but right now I'm reading "Into the Wild" to get me pumped for my trip (even though he dies in the end)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am deathly afraid of snakes and while hiking in Maine recently I almost stepped on one. He froze, I froze and after about 10 minutes of looking each other in the eyes both of us equally scared s*#!less and hoping the other would leave, I chose to be the bigger man and carefully walked around him. OK it wasn't that amazing but we had a connection!
