ABOUT ME

I'm currently a student again in Mechatronics Engineering through the NC State Extension at UNCA. I find that quantum physics and Hinduism have a lot in common. I like steak. I'm handy with a wrench from time to time so if your motorcycle breaks down, I might be able to break it more or fix it. I'm a light sleeper. Bicycles are awesome. I some day hope to be an Engineer so I can save the world from petrochemically induced doom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wow this hasn't been updated in 10 years !!! hahahahaha
My most recent one was in Morocco. I was on the train from Marrakech to Casa and I met this woman whom had learned english from cable television, wierd. Anyways she was travelling with her mother and she invited me to get off at the next stop and stay the night with them. These people were the most hospitable people I have ever met. I was showered with gifts and food everywhere I went. We even got our taxi for free b/c I was the first American to get into this guy's cab. I'll tell you more about it later.

I just hosted two girls from Florida and they were awesome! Thanks for coming and hanging out!

Interests

I love to ride bikes, make food, go camping, go hiking, I really love to travel, make food (I know I already said that), I love books, I love toast (I formerly loved toast, we've sort of had a falling out), I love canoeing and kayaking, I love putting myself into situations that are outside my comfort zone, Hmm I think this is enough

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tibet was awesome, Mt. Everest BC was really neat, India was amazing, motorcycle trekking in India for 5 days in the Himalayas was frighteningly awesome, I've run a full course marathon, I've been to the glacial source of the Yamuna river, I completed the UK's National 24 Hour Three Peaks Challenge in 23:42.18. It was awesome, also I ran with the Bulls in Pamplona which actually isn't as cool as you'd think.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can take you on a bicycle tour of Roanoke, I can teach basic engineering concepts, I can show you how to pop your nose, and many other odd things.
