Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Many things. I taught in Ghana in 1979/1981 in a small town, Larteh-Akwapim, 50 km north to Accra. There, I saw one coup d'Etat and it was quite rough. I was also there after the 1st coup of JJ Rawlings and food was difficult to find but we managed to survive. I enjoyed "fufu" (don't masticate) with the palm oil stew and also the "kenkey" fermented corn (very good). I dream to eat them again. Oh Ghana! ME pE wo!
I also arrived in Burkina Faso after a coup, and I was on the way to Togo.
When I arrived in Uruguay, in 1983, it was still the dictature. I got the pleasure to live the returnal to democracy in Argentina and in Uruguay, with the "destape".
Don't miss the "asado" and the "filet de lomo". So good meat!
