ABOUT ME

I was raised on the east coast and moved out to the west coast in my early twenties. I have been here since and enjoy the greater variety and abundance of outdoor things the west has to offer. Currently working as a nurse in the ER, with hopes of working abroad in a few years. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and learning about other cultures. Not sure if I want to 9-5 it or become a nomad. Only time will tell. Maybe I can have the best of both worlds.

I have only couch-surfed one time and it was amazing. I hope to surf much much more in the future and return the favor by hosting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Battling a hurricane in the middle of the Atlantic on an aircraft carrier. Did some time in the Navy as a Corpsman (medic) in Iraq and helped treat all sorts of patients, from fellow military members to suspected terrorists.

Teach, Learn, Share

Have a medical background as an emt and medic in the military, so I'm great to take along on treks where medical support is not readily available. I'm proficient in many areas, but the most useful may be the ability to suture, splint and give you an IV.
