ABOUT ME

Born and raised in California, financially independent, lots of friends in the states, but I enjoy meeting people from other countries - different perspectives and ideas on what life is/is about.

Music is my biggest interest. Part time- working on getting some of my photography into a gallery. Gathering financial backing to open my own brewery but also considering a CELTA degree to teach English.....somewhere!

PHILOSOPHY

There is more information in one thimble of reality than can be understood by a galaxy of human brains.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly I have passed on advice on lesser known things to see in San Diego and met up with CS'ers at local events. But I have met with a number of surfers throughout the world.

I have meet people along my travels and stayed with them on a few occasions. All of my experiences have been positive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: David Lynch and documentaries top my viewing list. Fav movies: City of God, Slim Susie, L'Auberge Espagnole, Baraka, The Promise, Layer Cake, Snatch and Trainspotting to name just a few.

Music: ALL OF IT, both listening and composing. Although not a huge fan of most mainstream music. A FEW bands I like: Elend, Ojos De Brujo, ...and Oceans, Koxbox, Cheb I Sabbah, Vivaldi, Balkan Beat Box, Far East Ghost, Johnny Cash, Amira Saqati, The Doors......

Books: Travel, Current Events, Non-fiction or work realated reading.
