ABOUT ME

I'm 42 y.o. man. I'm the dad of a son who's 16 yo (who lives with his mother) and we meet very often. We try to travel together as soon as we can. I live alone in Paris and love my job. I'm travel agent. I spend my time (when job is off) on reading, cinema, share moments with my friends. I'm from an Italian family and I love to go there as soon as I can. I'm in love with my all family there (all my cousins, hunts, uncles live in Rome area).
I like elephants, flowers, the laugh of a baby, italian food, aircrafts, a smile from someone in the subway, Simon and Garfunkel, when people can look at me straight in my eyes, Meryl Streep, Brokeback Mountain movie, american landscapes, Tuscany, Jerusalem.
And over all, I love people. I think that the only way to grow is to share with the Others. In this spirit, the Couch Surfing project in totaly in harmony with my live style.
I hate violence, war, intolerance, racism and I hate the cold...

PHILOSOPHY

I really give a special importance to family and my friends. I always thought that the Other was very important in our lifes. That's why I want to go to discover the other people. I always learned from them. Some of my friends are in my life since 30 years. I want to continue on this way...

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first hosts were a french couple... It has been a great experience. They arrived when I was with 14 of my italian cousins. They have integrate our group with facility. We had really good moments together. We travelled with my son recently to USA and have been hosted by to different couchsurfers. It's a really extraordinary experience to share the life of the people who receive you. We spent time with our couchsurfers hosts, cook together, share meals and we came back home with a lot of good memories. We'll do it again as soon as possible ! Since the frenchies, I host a few CS from UK, USA, Candada and I'm expecting one from Peru, three from Australia, one from Quebec... I really love to host and share with my guests. Try and adopt the couchsurfing way !

Interesses

My first interest is my 16 yo son. We try to share a maximum of moments. I love to travel, and more than travelling, discover other peoples around the world. That's why, when I knew the couch surfing concept, I found this site on the web and joined it. I like movies too, read, take care of my friends...

I like different kind of music... I do appriciate country US music, fench songs, classic music (I'm in love with Vivaldi and Mozart).

About travels : Jerusalem is one of my best memories... This place is so special. I loved Yosemite national park too. I'll never forget a trip in South Africa ; I spent a lot of time looking at elephants.
About my life : I change my way of life when I was 30. I changed my job (I became travel agent, after having a bar-tabacco shop for 10 years). At the same time I get divorce because I felt in love with a guy. It was the first time... I decided to leave home and live my life on my own. I'm still in very good relationships with my ex wife now. And I had two companion during last 12 years. For the moment, I'm alone...

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I would like to speak and write english better than today ; I can propose to teach french to someone and learn english from him or her. I'm ok too to share my experience of gay father with other gay parents accross the world. It's not so easy to be a parent, anyway, but perhaps it's stronger to be a gay parent. May we try to share someting about that ?
