About Me

CURRENT MISSION

living the simple way on the canals of London

ABOUT ME

bubbly, energetic, passionate about people and planet!

PHILOSOPHY

Learning how to love people, live simply, sustainably, responsibly and in relationship with people and planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to host where possible, although our boat is quite small. Love to travel and meet new people, so couchsurfing is great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted more than I've surfed, although that was a couple of years ago. Now looking to surf more than host I'm afraid.

Interests

I am interested in.... vegetarian food, nature, gardening, dancing, changing the world, learning, community, procrastinating (in fact I am doing so right now!), and sharing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love reading, both fiction and non-fiction.
Music - partner is a musician so I go to lots of gigs and festivals. Particularly love jazz, reggae, soul and funk.
Movies - I don't watch tv but do like films, mainly epic ones about real life and real people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think sometimes the most amazing things are the things that surround us but get little attention - nature is amazing, friendships are amazing, laughter is amazing... I could go on! I think it's important to appreciate the small things, as they're the things you miss when they disappear. BUT i will say that one of the most amazing things I've ever done was spend 3 weeks in Malawi meeting some of the most generous, thoughtful, beautiful people I've ever met, and learning invaluable lessons from 3-15year olds there.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - philosophy
Learn - philosophy
Share - food

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some vegetarian cooking, interesting conversation about the world and our place in it, English help, social time, and offer to host you in the UK in return for your kindness.
