CURRENT MISSION

I really want to visit all the continents (except Antarctica) and experience the cultures. Hiking a few mountains along the way would be a nice bonus.

ABOUT ME

I don't have a desire to talk about me, other than that I am a wanderer, though not lost. I prefer that when we meet, I am a blank slate and we create a picture from there.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is the seed of love and love is the root of happiness. Carefully plant, water, and tend to both every moment and watch the world grow more green before your eyes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hosting more and more as the year transpires and as couchsurfing grows. Soon, though, I will be traveling and visiting many couches, meeting many people. It's a very exciting time.!

兴趣

Hiking, sunsets, campfires (and the philosophy spoken when sitting around them), thunderstorms, chess, teaching, writing, helping others, reading (especially Stephen King), traveling by all means, road trips, but most of all conversation.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My visit to Krakow, Poland, was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The beauty of the city and the friendliness of the people was juxtaposed against the abject horror of the Aushcwitz/Birkenau Death Camp. The dichotomy was life-altering in its power.
