About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just to take it all in. Nothin beats being back on the road, nothing.

ABOUT ME

Currently adding another chapter in the travel books as my partner and I slowly but surely make our way through SE Asia. 6 months of undetermined locations sounds good to me, giddy-up!

PHILOSOPHY

Favorite Quotes: Change! "And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is a travel neccesity for any backpacker... Its the family and friends you never knew you had!

Interests

Wow, where to begin? Anything with boards is such a great way to spend the day. Surfing, snowboarding, longboarding. Golf, fishing (preferably with beers), rock climbing, fruit-bootin', camping, and diving are great ways to get in touch with the good old outdoors. Jammin with pals on my acoustic guitar is a hoot (but I need to practice WAY more) and I enjoy playing piano but should really need to take lessons again. Put those two on my things to do list... Basically, I'll try anything once. Heck, I'll try it twice just to make sure I'm not missin' out on a good thing!

Teach, Learn, Share

"Always be grateful. Embody tenderness at the worst times. Your battlefield is where you find yourself. Your school is life. your instructors are the problems that arise. Everything is an opportunity to keep growing. Fortify your body. Train yourself to feel comforatble in the most diverse circumstances. Find refuge periodically in the Earth, or in the forests. When energizing yourself, do not be demanding; share your presence, sing often, dance everywhere. If others think you are crazy, confirm their suspicions; that way they will leave you alone once and for all. Forgive freely. Share. Happiness multiplies when you share. Love everything you do, enjoy life continuously, take intense pleasure in living. Wanderers are in love with a fulfilled life, and they are faithful to it!" From the Book Chamalu The Shamanic Way of the Heart, Luis Espinoza
