About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"And to those who moan their lives, one day to the next. Well let them take you next- just live and be thankful you're here, because it could be you tomorrow or next year"
ABOUT ME
I hate describing myself. I have been told I am bubbly, friendly, have an interesting sense of humour and am very compassionate. I am also a vegetarian, I don't smoke cigarettes, I do drink, I enjoy exploring new places but I hate getting lost. It is unfortunate that it happens a lot as my natural sense of direction is awful! I enjoy photography, painting and drawing silly characters that came into my head after odd conversations with friends, making large dinosaurs from Coca-Cola bottles and going to parties.
I also like my sleep.
PHILOSOPHY
Have no regrets and just go for everything as you will only get one shot at most things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently have sofa/ airbed space for up to three people, although the sofa doesn't fold out- it's just really comfortable!
Interests
I am very interested in music, I love going to gigs, seeing bands play in bars, staying at festivals. I enjoy painting, photography, being in the countryside, parties on the beach and people watching. I obviously enjoy travel, although haven't been able to much over the past couple of years.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love what would be known to the masses as "alternative rock" music. Currently listening to The Smashing Pumpkins, but also love the B-52's and alot of Jazz. I enjoy reading, and I love watching films that make you think.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sun set on the mainland Island of Orkney. I have never seen one quite like it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can "speak" a bit of British Sign Language, I have a knowledge of very odd things (like where does the soil go when someone is burried?) due to an inquisitive nature and strange job history. I love learning new things, whatever they may be and I love sharing knowledge: I can teach baking, sewing (from sculpture to making clothes) and languages, and I'm a member of the schoolofeverything.com.
