Currently rediscovering a passion for playing the piano, while taking a break from work as a live performer.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy a good chat, good company, coffee, red wine, dark chocolate and the occasional cigar...all generally with good surrounds, but regardless of the location.

Often such experiences are created simply by recognizing what you have right in front of you. As a traveller, that's an ongoing exercise.

I've performed and written music as a solo singer songwriter for many years, and have done a lot of touring around Australia. I also did a stint in Europe a few years back which had me based in Amsterdam for a year or so.

PHILOSOPHY

The world can be an insecure place in many ways, but there is still plenty to be thankful for, and plenty of good people to experience life with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, so good. The few times I've couchsurfed through this site, I've met good and genuine people who have been very hospitable to me. One person in particular has become a a very good friend, which wouldn't have happened had it not been for this website.

兴趣

I enjoy reading. I enjoy fresh air. I enjoy sitting at the beach with a good smoothie. I enjoy meditating. I enjoy sitting on the deck playing guitar. I enjoy looking in art galleries...anything that gets me out of my head and appreciating my life.

Music: Music's a funny one for me right now. I have to say there's not a lot of music that really excites me at the moment. I'm definitely interested in hearing something that might, though. I'm finding a lot of modern music paints a negative picture of things, and if I listen to it too much I start buying into it too much.

...I like dance music - trance, house, chillout.

* Went hiking for a day along some Welsh cliffs in Anglesey - stunning!

* Many, many awesome sunsets...could maybe catch a few more sunrises! :-)

* Swimming naked in a beach somewhere south of Byron Bay on a crystal clear sunny day.

* Fireworks all right accross the city in Amsterdam on New Years Eve.

...I think I'll keep adding to this list as time goes on.
