Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell everyone I know that is traveling about the program, and how much cooler it is to stay with people rather than at hotels or hostels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've only done friends of friends of friends style couch surfing thus far because i miraculously travel to places where everyone is on holiday. however all of my experiences have been wonderful, and it is definitely great getting a first hand view of the area from a local's perspective.

We have hosted a few people now in detroit and have had a blast introducing them to another side of our infamous city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i survived a month long road trip with my family of five from michigan to alaska and back...

jake lived for a year with out me while i was adventuring/studying in germany :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching people the practicle skills that i know (sewing, knitting, cooking, canning) and I want to learn how to take care of goats and garden!
