ABOUT ME

I make my home whereever I go. We´ve just moved from Halmstad to Stockholm, but I was born and grew up in England. I studied in Textile Design in London and Scotland. I´ve also lived in Brighton, Germany, Halmstad and now Stockholm. I´ve been living in Sweden for one and a half years.

I like to enjoy life, have fun and love meeting interesting people. I used to organise social activities when I was working at Kimberly-Clark in Brighton and it was great fun. The office was very international and the average age was probably about 25. Another passion of mine is travelling, but I haven´t had the possibility to do it much lately. In my spare time I like to keep fit. I like jogging, cycling, swimming, boxing and body pump. I also like going to the cinema, restaurants, pub, watching stand-up comedy and reading.

I live with my boyfriend Fredrik, whom I actually met when I lived in Germany. Fredrik is a native Swede from Stockholm, but he's not stuck up or posh ;0) He's 38, speaks fluent Swedish, English, German and intermediate Russian and he fights cards scams on the Internet for a living.

I've met up with several couch surfers, hosted a few as well and it's always been a great experience.

Interests

I love travelling, hanging out with friends,
exercising especially doing boxing, core, body pump, cycling, kayaking etc. I like playing pool, eating good food :0) dancing, partying, going to the cinema, theatre and reading. I am also into languages, of course Swedish at the moment ;0) We have been known to go to a few ice hockey matches as well.

Fredrik is into sailing, kayaking, moutain biking, archery, lazy Sundays, watching DVDs, cooking, aircrafts and travelling ocassionally. Even though he's into planes, he's not a nerd! ;0)

One of my favourite authors is Anchee Min. A great book I read recently was "It's not about the bike, my journey through life" by Lance Armstrong. It was a very touching and motivating story.

I have a very broad taste in music. I like most types of music such as jazz, reggae, drum and bass, R n B, rock etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the most amazing things I've seen was probably my boyfriend actually doing the dishes and the laundry ;0)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always open to learning new stuff, that's what life's about. I enjoy teaching others too. I used to be an English teacher and it was great fun.
