ABOUT ME

I'm from the great state of Michigan in the USA. In university I became interested in languages and East Asia. I studied some Japanese and did a stint in Hikone, Japan. After graduating, however, I refocused on Chinese and moved to China. I lived in China (Nanjing/Shanghai) for close to 5 years, where I worked as an English teacher and eventually a translator and podcast host. I'm now in Taichung, Taiwan where I'm studying more Chinese, continuing with some translation projects, teaching kids and enjoying life.
