ABOUT ME

I'm a bright-eyed romantic dreamer who falls in love every day with something new. easygoing and mellow, smiling and trying...sometimes crying...sensitive, quiet, excitable, easily amused, talkative, hyper, contemplative, colorful, happily confused? spontaneous, quiet, content observer....i think i'm fun, but you may disagree. :)
I love creating and can't stand tv or other brain-sucking activities, i'd always rather do something, anything... carve a pumpkin, climb a tree, stretch..make something out of nothing.
I love expressing myself through clothes and it's not too hard to spot me in a crowd because of it.
I think i'd like to live in a community someday that is as self-sustaining as possible...or just have a farm or live in the woods. i follow the moon, and being in touch with nature is really important to me. feel the most complete when I'm outside, away from cars and concrete. I hold a special place in my heart for vegans, anarchists, wheat-pasters, people who are doing things to change the world rather than just complaining it's all messed up.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in sharing what I have...and i think that
the more i give, the more i live. i don't want to be rich, money just makes people want more, and give less.
i strive to see myself in everyone's eyes, to sense universal languages and truth beyond our immediate realities.
there are so many things to be grateful for...little, small, strange, beautiful, exciting things...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have had many lovely experiences staying with people in Cali, WA, and OR, but not thru couchsurfing....but most of all have let countless people crash at my old place in seattle. now I'm just recently starting to meet couchsurfers through the website, getting rewarded with good kouch karma and I love it so much...nothing short of inspirational. Love meeting travelers and sharing food, music, trading stories and dreams

i like any music that makes me dance, laugh, cry, tap my foot, touches my heart, evokes memories, speaks to my soul....anything that is good! it could be a single drum beat, or someone with a guitar, or a chant...i also really love gypsy swing....
books, well tom robbins comes to mind....

movies...i hardly get a chance to watch one. but i like movies that really make you think, a lot of foreign films...or just interesting perspective types. i also really like nature movies!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

i fasted for 10 days on water and juice only...and it was one of the most powerful, life-enhancing experiences i've ever had.
i also completed a 10 day vipassana meditation course...very helpful and empowering as well.
proof that we don't need to go anywhere to go really deep inside ourself.

i can teach, provide/barter/share yoga, vegan cooking & baking (wheat-free too), crochet, natural health, how to make tile mosaics, basic sewing, hitch-hiking, dumpter-diving, radical monkey-wrenching ideas(rising UP!) making raw chocolates and other raw foods

i'd like to learn more about knitting, making jewelry, farming, gardening, straw bale/mud brick building, permaculture, train-hopping, guitar, motor-bike riding, playing any instrument, veggie oil conversions, dancing... anything you want to teach me...i have an open mind!

I will share anything I have! I love making vegan food and goodies for people.
