HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spreading the word of this fabulous project and always talking to and meeting new people. I have been hosted a few times now in Australia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One fabulous experience was meeting a dutch dj at a party in Toronto en route from Vancouver to the Netherlands. His friend offered to show me around Amsterdam. I ended up staying at his place right in the heart of Amsterdam and getting toured around the city on the back of his bicycle. He even had us guestlisted to many of the big nite clubs!!

Hmmmm, I am interested in meeting new people who have chosen unique paths in life. I love music, cooking (and eating!) good food, dancing, yoga, skim boarding, surfing, hiking and good wine.

Hip hop has always moved me. Soul, afrobeat, world music, romantic acoustic to make me feel warm and fuzzy, lyrics that make me think or question my reality. I love to read - Lots! Recently enjoyed 'a complicated kindness' and Tim Winton's 'Dirt Music'

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A moment that took my breath away - lying out in the pacific ocean off Costa Rica on my surf board as the sun was setting. The water was a mosaic of colour - yellow, blue, green, red, silver. Letting waves go by as rays and pelican surfed them with such grace....

I love sharing my knowledge of plants with others (some might say 'whether you like it or not!). I am a constant embassador for my home town of Vancouver,BC and loving showing it off. I can share secrets of the ski areas of BC. I would like to learn more about meditation and ecology of other places. On my next travels I really want to improve my surfing (as in surfboard not couch surf!) ability.
