ABOUT ME

I'm basically your average Gen-Xer - still in school at age 44 although I do also work a 'real' job (much to my horror), don't take anything really seriously, and love to travel and meet new people. Hounds, bf, and I are low-key - just hope to meet other similar people!

Forget the hate, the divisions, the labels - let's focus on the similarities, shared experiences, common dreams and goals. Let's just get on with it and live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I seem to have a knack for working for different places in exchange for a place to stay. I'm pretty willing to help out around a place, but also consider simple couch exchanges a very worthwhile endeavor! Even if you don't have a couch to change, a drink & suggestions of places to visit are also very helpful!

Music - highly flexible. Movies - mostly action/adventure. Not much into TV, especially reality crap. Books - I'll read anything.

Wow - too many to mention. Visiting China was great, living in Scotland & Bermuda, training it across Europe - lots of fantastic stuff has been seen and done. Always looking to experience more, though, and meeting with different people is always huge on my list of great experiences.

I cook pretty well, I'm a history buff and a sometime computer chick, I have a MA degree in underwater archaeology, and I loooove Scrabble and trivia.
