About Me

CURRENT MISSION

not to just be 'satisfied' with my life but to really love it

ABOUT ME

Having graduated, I am now getting an education my via the people and places I encounter through travelling. I am easy going and energetic, there isn't much I don't like as I can usually make a goodtime out of any situation. I've lived with lots of types of people before and if you have a positive outlook on your life we'll get along right away no worries!

PHILOSOPHY

someone once told me 'awkward is the spice of life'. i think alot of people limit what they do because of the possibility of awkwardness, ive learnt not to miss out and just go for it. dont know if this will make sense to anyone reading it..but i guess its one of my philosophies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosted and have hosted a number of times, and have been to CS meets in Vancouver & San Diego.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good- its always the best (and most rewarding) meet locals when i travel and to pass on my knowledge when hosting.

Interests

building tents, art (painting, silkcreening, sewing stuff (toys, clothes)), snowboarding, festivals, beaching, hiking, pingpong, biking, clowning around, roadtripping, horseback riding (improving, slowly), swimming...etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

book: miracle on the andes
music: too much to describe...there is always a time for every type. But i suppose i like "oldies" the most (from johnny cash to the clash) and for newer stuff black rebel motorcycle club, the growlers, black angels, etc, and hiphop always.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a pretty awesome "job" ..I built tents for music festivals (think T in the park, V festival..), travelling in caravans and camping, and going to the concerts at each of the festival sites around Europe with some of the best people I have ever met. And no, this doesn't count as carnie..

Teach, Learn, Share

Here is my camping tip:
i HATE being cold in bed, so i always bring a small hot water bottle for my sleeping bag. fill it up with boiling (or almost boiling water) just before bedtime and chuck it into the foot of the sleeping bag to keep toes warm. Stays warm for hours and is light to pack (u can use a plastic bottle too- but with slightly cooler water)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
