ABOUT ME
Not easy to be objective about oneself... Open-minded, easy-going, curious, sociable, calm... and I really enjoy new experiences.
Different experiences in teaching.
What motivates me the most in life is going far away from home, travelling, meeting people, and eventually go back home.
PHILOSOPHY
"Il n'y a d'homme plus complet que celui qui a beaucoup voyagé, qui a changé vingt fois la forme de sa pensée et de sa vie." (There is no man more complete than the one who travelled a lot, who changed the shape of his thoughts and his life twenty times.) Alphonse de Lamartine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had several Couchsurfing experiences; each of them worked brilliantly well. It definitely encourages me to continue.
When I can, I meet other CouchSufers in Angers (at a bar, a cultural event...)
Interests
I like eating pastries in tea houses, watching old films in the morning, walking around museums, strolling in city parks, swimming in natural pools, reading a book on the train, cooking lemon meringue pies, climbing after a hard day at school, exulting at a basketball game, dreaming in front of street theatre, being amazed by the landscape during a long (and hard?) hike, and last but not least traveling with my favourite backpack :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Films: The Professionnal (all time favourite! + E.T. :), Tarantino's, Wes Anderson's, westerns...
Music: folk, indie, trip-hop
Books: any kind of novels, books about nature/health, recipes books, self-development books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being thrown in the air by my lovely Slovak ensemble Rozmarija after their last show with me as their guide to say thank you - meant a lot :) D'akujem!
Took part in the largest family reunion in August 2012 (Guinness World Records). 5,000 cousins gathered all together was an awesome weekend!
Teach, Learn, Share
Completed my masters thesis about the use of children books in the foreign language class.
