About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Crossing North America, from British Columbia to Guatemala, totally pennyless.

ABOUT ME

What you should know about me:

1) I've got probably as many freckles as different ideas of what I should do in the next year, which far above 712. (e.g. visit Israel or Nepal, or both, parachute, learn Tai Chi, read everything that has to be read, camp, surf, learn a new language, knit a tuque, publish something, finish my B.A., buy a new couch for my couchsurfers.)

2) Love maps, but I have the worst orientation skills. True story: I once bought a place ticket for San José, California, thinking it was for San José, Costa Rica. Fortunately, I found out before getting on board.

3) Couchsurfing at my place means that: You will be staying in the Old City where everything you want to see is just a short walk away, there are numbers of great bars, restaurants and shops within a radius of 200 meters from my door, I work in the best gelato ice cream shop which you will benefit from, I beat everyone at scrabble.)

4) I'm happy. Very much so.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to avoid portugese man o'war. Seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed through europe for 3 months, made so many friends and discovered the underground scene of non-touristic areas which I could not have had the orientation skills to find if it was not for my hosts.

I have now become a host myself, three Germans have tested my couch so far : Johannes, Wiebke and Sophia. Great people (and have survived their experience in the Canadian winter).
