HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As is I mainly host and try to bring the message of CS to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have so forth almost only hosted and only surfed once with in iceland. But hosting is so much fun, a lot more fun than I expected when I signed up and is always getting better. So it happens that my one of my flatmates is also active on CS and my brother that also lives here is signing up. That brings us quite a lot of surfers/reqests and all the people we have hosted have been great, ofcource there have been few that were greater jet but none we wish that hadn´t shown up. We have had all kinds of surfers coming through and staying for different length of time from 12hours to more than a week, our involvement with surfers have varied from simply offering a place to lay your head over the night to joining their travels and gone on road trips with our surfers. Most of the time it is kind of hard to say good bye but I´ve always been happy to have the experience of hosting.

My only "real surfing" in iceland was just as much fun as hosting and I hope I get to surf more in coming furure.
