Love to travel, no particular preferences where, with who or when, just out there is enough, new worlds, foods, languages, faces, alcoholic beverages and even the odd idea to surprise myself. Home town Dublin... Places I've lived and feel at home; Budapest, London, Nairobi, Mombasa, Madrid and who knows where next.

ABOUT US:
Myself and Estrella (from Madrid, Spain) are a couple and are taking on our biggest overland adventure yet this year by attempting the long haul trip from Atlantic to Pacific, by car. Leaving from Madrid sometime in the Summer of 2015, the plan is just to follow our shadows Eastward, passing through the peoples and places on the way, Central & Eastern Europe, South Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Indian Subcontinent, South East Asia and China. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about this while travelling in Uruguay in 2006 & thought; what a brilliant idea. I had been doing it unofficially anyway for years before so it was delightful to find a site to match the habit. I host and Surf whenever and wherever possible, love the energy and ethos of the whole idea and have only good memories and connections from my time on board.
