Hi everyone--I'm Erica, and I just left my job doing politics and new media in Washington, D.C. to embark on a few months of world travels.

I had a great time living at a group house in DC and working for Speaker Nancy Pelosi and then at the Democratic National Committee--but now I'm excited to get out and experience more of the world. I've always had positive experiences with Couchsurfing, so I'd like to do more of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in the stadium of 80,000 people when Barack Obama accepted the Democratic nomination for president in Denver was pretty awesome.
