About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Rededicate myself to getting involved in this awesome CSing world

ABOUT ME

Pretty average guy, 6' tall, 213lbs. Like to party and have a good time as well as be serious at times. I'm a hugh baseball fan. My Detroit Tigers are finally having great seasons. We may not have won it all in 2006 but after the last few seasons, I have nothing to be upset about. My father owns a local bar. Great place to hang out. I used to work there but quit in 10/08 because I finally got my professional career off the ground. I worked there for about 9.5yrs. so I know a lot of nice people through that job. I'm a high school sports official for football and softball/baseball. I also manage and play on the co-ed slow pitch softball team that my dad's bar sponsors. Lastly I provide IT support at a local branch of a worldwide alternative energy company. They make solar panels. Very excited about that. Finally something in my field of study. I'm finally done with my last semester of school at Owens, a local community college. Majored in Networking & Information Systems Support. Did very well. Brought the GPA up to a 3.78. Very happy about that. Other then that, love movies, going to live concerts, having a few drinks w/my friends, travel (of course), and sometimes just sitting at home and watching TV.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard, be a better person, don't be a dick, God is watching. (I actually have this tattooed on my arm in elven)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted in Chicago and Phoenix and I have hosted someone from LA. So far I'm enjoying my experiences w/Couchsurfing and hope more people come through my town so I can meet them. I won't be doing much traveling myself in the near future till I get my degree finished but when I do you better believe I will contact the local surfers wherever I go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted someone from LA, walked around Chicago & went to a Cubs game w/a fellow surfer, and had someone in Phoenix pick me up from the airport when my friend's car died. All in all, very positive so far.

Interests

Officiating sports, going to sporting everts (especially baseball), playing softball, school, movies, live music (mostly rock but if you offered me a ticket to anything from classicial to bluegrass to blues I'd go), camping, trying or doing anything new and exciting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer I was a summer camp counselor in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Met some cool kids, hiked everywhere, slept outdoors a lot, rode horses, did a lot of ropes courses, tons of fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to make a killer batch of Sangria. I would tell you but that wouldn't be any fun. I'll make it if you visit my town.
