My wife and I are both people who make friends easily and are interested in hearing about you!
We love to travel, take photographs and help people where we can!

PHILOSOPHY

We have both been very family orientated but as they're graowing up and moving on ... it's about time we spent more time for us and friends!
Though we still want to be part of their lives, they don't need us so much now - which is liberating and scary at the same time!
Although we are not followers of any particular religion, we both believe firmly in karma and therefor we will always help if we can!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This has been restricted in recent years with children and grandchildren moving home again ... but now that that has cleared, we're looking forward to both hosting, surfing and just meeting people!

Haven't had any experiences yet ... butfingers crossed that will soon change!

Photography, travel, reading, music ... driving rickshaws across terrain they're not designed for ... the usual stuff!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music ... anything and everything - from Classical/Opera to Punk ... although I would lean more often to the punk end of the scale! Rule nothing out!

Movies ... again very varied ... Usual Suspects/Shawshank Redemption/Forrest Gump being favourites ... but we'll watch just about anything! We enjoyed going to cinema full of indian friends in UK to see The Robot in Tamil!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving across India twice in an auto-rickshaw were fantastic experiences - you can't help being immersed in a country when travelling through it in a rickshaw. The smells, the sights, the people. I would recommend it!
Seeing a tiger in the wild whilst sitting astride an elephant was pretty cool!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn a little of the langauge of any place I visit ... though I'm not a fast learner when working at it alone or online ... It's something I would really like to do.
