About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Grow food, cook it up, eat it, grow food, cook it up...

ABOUT ME

This seems to change all the time. At the moment I live with my mum, brother and sister, farming some land outside the village (organic vegetables), and working in a microbrewery part-time. Soon I'm moving to seattle and getting married. Who knows what will happen there?

PHILOSOPHY

Thats hard to write down. Because its dictated by the way you live each day. Sometimes it surprises you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really love couchsurfing and the whole idea of it. I've surfed and hosted lots of times but I'm always trying to get more friends and random people involved because its just been great for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It was a great experience to go on a couchsurfing road trip to Canada in december 2006, when six of us all crammed in to the spaces given us by several hosts. Not too many people have six spare couches. Since then I have only had really nice experiences with hosts and travellers, and I really appreciate the openness and kindness of everyone I have met.

Interests

Music, people, travel, food, swimming in rivers or lakes or the sea, history, football, learning all kinds of skills, making beer, growing things, building, fermenting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know, just all of it

Teach, Learn, Share

Meeting new people always seems to involve some amount of teaching/learning/sharing, which is great. Often that is not for any specific skills; I learn a lot from hearing what other people have to say. Anyway cooking is a good thing where people can learn from eachother. Everyone has their own ideas about things which is good to share. Also, I would love for anyone to teach me more about playing the guitar or any other musical instruments. Sharing knowledge and experience of the different places we live.
